Pattern Use- Please Read

After reading much about copyright laws, and reaching an understanding about it, here is what you are allowed to do with  patterns. This applies to anyone who has ever bought one of our patterns.
~Under the law-- you ARE allowed to sell finished products made from our patterns-please do. It is customary to give design credit to Hailstorm Creek Press when selling those items. Please don't say they are your designs-- that constitues copyright infringement.
~As long as you've legally purchased a copy of the pattern, you can sell the pattern when you're done with it- Like at a yard sale, or destashing on ebay or etsy.
~Mass producing items made from the pattern (s) (as in Manufacturing) is something we'd have to have a written agreement about.
~You can't copy the paper patterns and sell them, but you can copy for your personal use-- just don't sell the copies or give copies to your friends or share them over the internet.
~There is no license, implied or otherwise, for use of these patterns unless we make a written agreement between you- the buyer - -and I, the copyright holder.  For example, if you wanted to make 25 of the same item from one of the patterns, we would both sign a license agreement to that effect.
~There is no "rule" or otherwise about how many items you can make from the pattern(s), and I can't tell you how many you can make, except if you want to mass produce them, which most crafters and individuals don't do.  There is a common misconception that by writing on the pattern that you can "only make 10 of the item" that this constitutes a license-- it is not.
~Also-- you can display quilts made from these patterns at quilt shows-- again give design credit to Hailstorm Creek Press.
~Again, these statements are not something I made up for you to abide by-- it's all in the law and are facts.
~~ **More pattern designers should read up on the law and realize what it allows people to do with their patterns, and objects made from their patterns. **~~

This special doll is named after my Granny Lil, who was a skilled dollmaker, drapery maker, quilter and clothing maker. She made a very special Raggedy Ann and Andy doll set when I was only 6 years old, which I still have to this day. This doll is designed and named for her memory.

Tiny Tan Check With Antique Brown Buttons

This is one of our Farmhouse Aprons-- it features a tan check cotton fabric-- which has been prewashed--and two large brown antique buttons and a pleat in the front.

Our aprons are meant to be full and loose-- it's the closest you'll find me to wearing a dress--

They have criss-crossed straps that go over your neck and arms-- no ties!!

They all have two patch pockets on the front.

They cover everything from your chest to just below your knees.  They are loose and "flow-ey".  I really love how they look blowing in the breeze!

This apron is size EX Large- which fits a chest (over your clothing) of 42- 44 inches.  (see tab at top of page for our size chart.)

Aprons in "Plain" and "Fancy" styles:

Plain have no decoration- just patch pockets in the front.

Fancy have some decoration on the center front, like vintage buttons.

All aprons have patch pockets.
